If you are an Amazon influencer and you are also interested in Trybe, Oink just dropped a new update for pro subscribers that connects the two. It shows you any content you have already made on your Amazon storefront for a brand that is also on Trybe. In other words, it finds the brands you have already worked with who do not know it yet.

Why Overlapping Trybe With Your Storefront Matters

Trybe is about working directly with brands. The hard part, like with any brand platform, is standing out when you request access. Everybody submits a request. Most of those requests look identical to the brand.

But here is the thing most Amazon influencers do not stop to think about: you have probably already made videos for some of the brands sitting on Trybe. You filmed their product, it lives on your storefront, and it may well be selling for them right now. That is a completely different conversation than a cold request, and until now there was no way to know which brands overlapped.

Where To Find The New Filter

  1. Go to your Amazon storefront with Oink running.
  2. Click Other Actions at the top.
  3. Open the Content Cross Posting Center.
  4. At the top there is a new filter option that says Show Trybe Brands.

Flip that on and you get every video you have made where the brand is on Trybe, or is very likely on Trybe.

Reading The Purple Confidence Colors

You will notice two shades of purple in the results, and that is intentional. I did not want to pretend this matching is perfect, so I built the confidence level right into the display.

  • Dark purple means yes, the brand is there. High confidence match.
  • Light purple means the brand is most likely there, but the name matching was a little fuzzy.

Brand names on Amazon and brand names on Trybe do not always line up cleanly. Sometimes trying to match these names up is a little bit interesting, which is exactly why some entries land in the lighter shade. Treat light purple as worth a manual check rather than a guarantee.

The Workflow That Actually Gets You In

Let me walk you through exactly what I did yesterday, because it is the whole playbook in one example.

I saw Neutra Harmony show up on the list. I thought, man, I have done a lot of Neutra Harmony videos. So I downloaded one of them. Then I went over to Trybe, requested access to that brand, and submitted the video I had already made as part of my request. In the little message box I wrote something like: hey, I have already made a bunch of videos for you guys on Amazon, I am looking forward to working with you.

  1. Filter your storefront for Trybe brands in the Content Cross Posting Center.
  2. Pick a brand where you already have multiple videos.
  3. Download one of your existing videos for that brand.
  4. Request access to that brand on Trybe.
  5. Attach the existing video to the request and mention the work you have already done.

That request does not look like everyone else’s. You are not asking for a chance, you are showing proof of work with their product, already produced, already live.

Repurposing Content You Already Made

The second benefit shows up after they accept you. Some of the videos you have already made can be repurposed and submitted inside the Trybe, which means you may get paid on content that is already sitting there finished. You get more content out of the content you have already made.

I am a big believer in this generally. Most Amazon influencers massively under monetize their back catalog. You filmed it, you edited it, you uploaded it, and then it does one job forever. Reusing and repurposing that footage gets it extra reach and extra revenue for basically zero additional production time.

So if you are interested in Trybe, you can use this feature to connect with brands you have already worked with. They just do not know it yet. It gets you an extra foot in the door and gets your content a little bit of extra reach at the same time.

Availability And Getting Started With Trybe

The Show Trybe Brands filter is a feature for pro subscribers of Oink and it is available right now in the Content Cross Posting Center.

If you are not part of Trybe yet, it does not cost anything to join. You never pay anything on there. It is all about working directly with brands, so the only direction the money moves is toward you. The signup link is in the description of the video below.

If you want to find out which Trybe brands are hiding in your own storefront, grab Oink at oinkforinfluencers.com and turn on the filter. I think most creators are going to be surprised by how many brands they have already quietly been working for.
