If you’re trying to scale your Amazon influencer business, you don’t need more products. You need to squeeze more out of the products you already have. Too many of you are one-and-done: you get a product in, make a single video, and then go right back to messaging brands and chasing the next thing. Stop it. I’m going to give you a four-video checklist that you run on every single product from here forward, and I’d argue it’s one of the most important things you can do for your storefront over the next three months.

Stop Chasing New Products
Look, I want you to keep getting products in. That’s not the point. The point is that most Amazon influencers put enormous pressure on themselves to constantly acquire new stuff while they are nowhere close to getting the most out of the stuff already sitting in their house. You make one video, tag it, and move on. That product had four videos in it and you took one.
Every product that is actually selling on Amazon and has an open Creator Connections campaign is an asset. One video is one shot at a carousel slot. Four videos give you four different angles, four different thumbnails, four different titles competing for clicks, and four chances to land in a carousel that already only has up to five spots. That’s how you grow faster without spending another hour in your DMs with brands.
Commandment 1: The Anchor Video
Your anchor video comes first, every time. It’s horizontal, and for most products it’s going to land somewhere around two to three minutes. It’s your everything video and it’s the star of the show, the one that is going to convert the best for you.
Here’s how I build it. Before I hit record, I sit down and write out three or four questions that every single buyer is going to have about that product. Does it fit? Is it loud? How long does the battery last? Is it worth the money over the cheaper one? Then in the video I answer every one of those questions and I demonstrate the product doing the thing it was designed to do. That’s expertise, authority, insight, and demonstration in one place, and it’s exactly what a buyer on a product page is looking for.
Commandment 2: The 30 to 45 Second Vertical Short
I’ll be honest: six months ago, maybe four, I would not have recommended this one. But Amazon has been building out integrations with TikTok, Facebook Reels, Instagram, and YouTube inside Creator Studio, and short vertical content is clearly going to matter more, not less. Right now the carousels are set up in a way where short vertical videos are getting just as much love as anything else.
This is a compressed version of your anchor. Not quite TikTok style, but not the old-school Amazon influencer style either. Think, “I’m going to show you everything you need to know about this microphone in the next 30 seconds,” and then actually do it. Same product, same questions, a fraction of the runtime.
Commandment 3: The Stack Video
A stack video is when you combine two or three products that naturally work together and show why they belong together. A clothing ensemble is a stack: shirt, pants, shoes. Supplements are a stack: creatine, BCAAs, protein. If you garden, your favorite shovel and your favorite hoe are a stack.
The beauty of stacks is that one video gets tagged to multiple products, which means one piece of content can land in multiple carousels. It also lets you reuse products you’ve already made an anchor video for. You’re not acquiring anything new. You’re combining what’s already in your inventory into a fresh angle that buyers find useful.
Commandment 4: The Comparison Video
I’ve said it a billion times and I’ll say it again: Amazon loves comparison videos and buyers love comparison videos. Everybody wants the best version of the thing they’re shopping for. Why do you like this vacuum over that vacuum? Here are three flashlights, I’m going to demonstrate each one and tell you the differences so you can pick the right one.
Comparison videos are also the easiest way to turn an old product into new income. The flashlight you reviewed eight months ago becomes the baseline for the flashlight that showed up last week. Inside Oink, the Comparison Video Schedule exists for exactly this reason: it surfaces the products on your storefront that pair naturally so you’re never staring at a shelf wondering what to compare against what.
Why Four Videos Beats Four Products
Do the math on your own storefront. If you brought in 50 products this quarter and made one video each, that’s 50 videos and 50 carousel attempts. Run the four commandments on those same 50 products and you’ve got 200 videos and 200 carousel attempts, with zero additional outreach, zero additional shipping delays, and zero additional time waiting on brands to say yes.
More importantly, you already know which of those 50 are selling. You already know which ones have Creator Connections campaigns running. You’re pouring your extra effort into products with proven demand instead of gambling on the next unknown that lands on your porch.
That’s the shift. Stop chasing product collaborations and Creator Connections acceptances as if they’re the goal. They’re the input. The output is videos, and if you’re failing to run this checklist, you’re putting your energy in the wrong place.
How Oink Helps You Run the Checklist
The hardest part of this system isn’t making the videos. It’s knowing which products deserve all four. That’s where I lean on Oink every day. Storefront Cross Check shows me which of my tagged products are actually selling and which have live Creator Connections campaigns, so I know where the second, third, and fourth videos will pay off. The Comparison Video Schedule lines up natural head-to-head matchups from products I already own. And Unavailable Video Matching flags videos tied to products that went out of stock, so I’m not wasting a stack or a comparison on something buyers can’t purchase.
Run the checklist on every product. Anchor video first, then the short, then the stack, then the comparison. Do that consistently and you’ll grow faster on what you already have than most influencers do chasing new stuff all year.
