Hey, what is up Oink fam? I want to give you a heads up on a batch of changes rolling into Oink over the next couple of days — headlined by Oink Cloud, which finally lets your Oink data follow you across devices. There are also fixes coming for cross geo posting duplicates, a new storefront button for Canada, UK, and Australia users, and several bug fixes. Here’s everything you need to know before it all goes live.

Oink Cloud Is Rolling Out

The big one first: Oink Cloud starts rolling out this week. If you’ve ever worked from your desktop at home and then grabbed your laptop to travel, you know the pain — your Oink setup didn’t come with you. Oink Cloud fixes that by syncing your data across your different devices automatically. Log in on a second machine and your stuff is just there.

What Syncs Between Your Devices

Basically anything you do in Oink will sync. That includes:

  • Your brand templates
  • Your storefront health check results
  • Your cross-posting results
  • Pretty much everything else you generate while working in the extension

No exporting, no manual copying between computers. The sync happens automatically whenever you log in on a device.

What Doesn’t Sync: Your Sales Data

One deliberate exception: sales data does not sync. If a feature in Oink has you upload a sales CSV, that data stays on your local computer only. I want to make sure that stays excluded from the cloud entirely — your earnings data is yours, and it never leaves the machine you uploaded it on. Everything else syncs; your sales CSVs don’t.

Who Gets Oink Cloud First

Oink Cloud is rolling out for Pro subscribers first. I’ve been doing some last-minute testing to make sure everything syncs cleanly, and once it’s live I’ll do a full walkthrough video covering exactly how it works and what to expect on your end.

Cross Geo Posting: Fixing the Duplicate Detection Weirdness

Some of you have reported weird behavior when uploading through cross geo posting — sometimes it flags a duplicate, and sometimes Amazon’s detection system misses one entirely. I’ve got an update coming that’s designed to curb that inconsistency so there’s no real chance of uploading duplicates in the first place.

To be clear: if you have uploaded a duplicate, it’s fine. You just delete it. But it’s annoying, and it forces you to follow up on things later that should have been caught upfront. That’s the part I’m fixing.

New Storefront Button for Canada, UK, and Australia

If you post to Canada, UK, or Australia, this one’s for you. Normally, clicking “my storefront” takes you straight to your US .com storefront. With this update, you’ll get a choice: whichever geos you have enabled, you can jump directly to that storefront with one click. Sometimes you need to pop over to your Canada storefront real quick and handle something — now it’s one click instead of a URL-editing exercise.

Bug Fixes and What’s Next

Alongside the headline features, several bug fixes are shipping in this same release. I’ll put out a full video breaking everything down once it’s all actually released, so keep an eye out for that. Consider this your heads up so nothing surprises you when the extension updates.
